Auto da Fé

Definition: A ceremony that occurred during the Spanish Inquisition when an accused heretic gave testimony prior to their sentence being delivered.

Montréal- March 17, 2008, my MFA thesis art show, Auto da Fé opened at Concordia University's Bourget Gallery. A panel of experts convened, judged the artwork and I was spared. Rather than being burned at the stake, I was awarded my Master's of Fine Arts degree. Here is a selection of the over one hundred individual works presented.
